Salon 1

Andrea has been at Salon 1 for 3 years but in the industry for 15 years. She works behind the chair as well as being one of the managers at Salon 1. In 2005 she became an artistic educator and has worked for Matrix – A division of L’Oreal, and Babe hair extensions. In 2011 she advanced once again taking a position with Wella as an Education Color Specialist. She has worked behind the scenes at variety of trade shows as well as taking center stage. Andrea works with her team in mind and is always tenative to bringing education to the entire staff. She has certified many of Salon 1′s team in Extension work, and is proud of this ambitious team. She excells in color and straigtening services and welcomes all clients.

Molly started at Salon 1 as an assistant, but then moved on to another salon. Over the years she remembered Salon 1′s reputation and returned with the opening of the 3rd Street location. She has said, “this is home”, and really means it. She is not only a great stylist but also the editor of Salon 1′s newsletter “Quick Clips”. Molly hopes to become an educator in the future as her bright personality shows with her ability to help others. She furthered her career and is certified in hair extensions. Her creativity shines through her colorful attitude and on all of her clients. She feels at home in the color room, and loves all aspects of being a stylist.Molly welcomes all clients and knows they too will feel at home with her at Salon 1.

I have received many compliments from my friends on my hair. I like the way that she explains the products that she uses and is willing to suggest those that will help my hair. Martha has been with Salon 1 for almost 2 years. She relocated here from the Pittsburgh area (she is a diehard Steelers fan)! She has a bachelor’s degree in communication and it shows with her patient personality. Martha takes pride in her work and truly excells with foiling hair color, and is certified in Hair extesnions. She welcomes all clients and always greets with a handshake and smile.

Amanda has been part of our assistant program for almost 2 years. She received expert training on nail services at our Foote Avenue location. With a position opening at 3rd street she transferred here to perform manicures and pedicures and assist our stylists. She is offering waxing services. We look forward to her growth and she welcomes clients looking for pampering on their nails or waxing!

Lacy has just joined Salon 1 team. With her 6 years of experience, she adds zest throughout the salon. She is an eager learner and takes advantage of all the education classes Salon 1 offers. She is well rounded in all hair services in the salon and also does facial waxing. Lacey is also certified in hair extensions.
