Salon 1

Stacey started at Salon 1 twelve years ago. She started as an assistant, moved up to a stylist, and in 2010 became manager at the 3rd Street Salon. With her advance knowledge Stacey moved back to Foote Avenue and has used her manager skills at the desk area to upgrade and modernize Foote Avenues computer system. Her dedication and go to, team work attitude is what has continued to keep Salon 1 the #1 salon in Chautauqua County. She is advanced in barbering, waxing, color, and all aspects of hair. Stacey keeps her clients 100%happy and always welcomes new clients.

Beth has been the Salon 1 receptionist and manger for over 25 years. Beth greets every client with a smile and has an extrodinarily great personality. Just calling the salon you can tell Beth is smiling. Her ability to work with clients and staff and keep everyone happy is a sure sign she loves her job.

Zuleika has been an assistant at salon 1 for over 3 years. This beautiful bilingual lady is always on the go. From giving excellent Shampoo massages, to makeing a perfect cup of coffee, you’ll always see her shining!

Shantelle started out as an assistant at Salon 1. She quickly took to clients and being tentative to her job, and moved behind the chair fast. She has been with Salon 1 for 8 years and continues to grow her career here. Shantelle enjoys performing all hair services and excells in specialty updo styles as well as color.

Lily has been with Salon 1 for almost 2 years. Her comical personality keeps our staff energetic and filled with humor. She started as an assitant and has quickly moved into manicures and pedicures. Lily has almost finished her training in waxing and looks forward to her advancement. She gives relaxing shampoos and performs blowdry services keeping our styling team on time. She lights up the room with her personality and looks forward to every upcoming training the salon has.

Laura worked for several years as a legal secretary before joining the Salon 1 team. Her background has provided her with excellent comminacation skills that she uses to keep both salons in sync. As receptionist, she keeps the flow of the salon steady and will gladly great you with a smile.

Mike (a.k.a. El Grande Capo~ translates to The Big Boss in Italian) has been in the barbering industry for over 30 years. One of the original owners of Towne Barbers, he realized the future was in having a salon of his own that offered both male and female services. He opened Price Cutters in the 1980′s which was renamed and is now known throughout all of Chautauqua County as Salon 1. In 2010, Mike opened his second Salon 1 location. With his leadership, business skills, and passion for our industry, in his salon, Mike has personally trained more stylists in Chautauqua County than any other salon. His commitment to his team has led his salon to be named one of the fastest 200 growing salons in the United States, as well as recieved The Post Journals Readers Choice award for Chautauqua County’s favorite salon 4 times. Mike continues to train our talented staff, and still is the master of barber within the salon.

Cherie started at Salon 1, 10 years ago. From day one she has shown a strong ability in hair services and especially has a knack for permanent waving, and strong foiling abilities. She has a soft spoken personality with a sence of humor that will keep you laughing each time your in her chair.She continues her career at salon 1 and welcomes all clients.

Jennifer is a new stylist at salon 1. Jennifer has a will power like no other. She is currently multitasking in the salon. She has been doing hair for 2 years and truly excells in barbering and childrens haircuts.

Marty has been with Salon 1 when it was formally known as “Price Cutters”. She started her career under our owner over 29 years ago which lead to become manager of Salon 1. Marty is known for her master barbering skills and her laughter throughout the salon. She also is our lead Perm expert. Marty has coordinated several charity events, salon 1 has participated in. She continues to laugh and keeps customer satisfaction 100%!

Amber has joined our team as an assistant. She helps keep our Styling team on time by giving top notch washes, and knock out blow-dries.

Mary Jo has worked at Salon 1 for 4 years, but has been in the industry for over 8. She has a sporty attitude, which keeps her and her clients on their toes. Not only does she perform all hair services but Mary Jo also performs manicures and pedicures, as well as facial services. Mary jo continues to seek out advanced training and has become one of the extension specialists at Salon 1. She welcomes new clients and always greets everyone with a smile.

Karen has been with Salon 1 for 9 years and in the industry for 21. Karen has an ability to work with people from 2 years old to 110years creating a personal bond with each of them. She enjoys performing all salon services, such as, haircuts, color, perms, waxing including body waxing, facials, manicures, and pedicures. Many clients receive pedicures all year long because of her excellent massages. She has trained most of our up and coming manicure and pedicurist in her expertise. Karen welcomes everyone with her warm personality.

Danielle has been a long time stylist at Salon 1. She started at salon 1 as an assistant, and with her multiple talents she soon moved behind the chair. Her well rounded talents keep her busy. Danielle specializes in body waxing. She also has a strong knowledge of color and continues to challenge herself. She looks forward to meeting new clients while always have a warm smile for everyone.
